Hard to tell. If they knew where Zion was, machines would easily
slaughter the whole city. Perhaps only with the access codes the city
could be located, and since I still believe that Zion is just a part
of the simulation, I think that the access codes might just as well
represent something similar to the web address on the internet. If
Zion was real, it is hard to believe that machines would be unable to
find it quickly, but if we assume that the whole big simulation
program is run on quantum computers (and there are hints in Reloaded
that it is), then it is more likely that only the right access codes
can point the machines to the place where the city is hidden.
