monitor the movements of the US military
and which could also be used to guide a

Weather Delays GPS Launch

Cape Canaveral - October 5, 1999 - Bad weather
at the Cape continues to delay Boeing's Delta 2
launch of a new GPS satellite. Launch officials
are now aiming for a Thursday launch October 7,
during a 15-minute launch window that opens at
8:51 a.m. EDT.
